We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, username, email address, and optional mobile phone number — as well as usage data generated while you use StreakWars, including check-ins, war participation, and submission activity. We may also collect device and browser information for security and debugging purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to operate and improve the StreakWars platform, process payments, communicate with you about your account, deliver notifications you have opted into, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers (such as Stripe for payment processing and Twilio for SMS delivery) solely to perform services on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of StreakWars, our users, or others.
4. Analytics & Cookies
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits and product actions such as sign-ups, War joins, creation, and sharing. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, proof content, invitation tokens, or payment details to Google Analytics, and advertising storage remains disabled. You can change your choice in StreakWars at any time.
5. SMS / Text Message Privacy
You may provide your mobile phone number to receive SMS/text messages from StreakWars for the following transactional purposes:
Recurring SMS consent is optional. You may leave the consent checkbox unchecked and still create an account, verify your phone, use StreakWars, join or participate in a game, and make a purchase. Consent is separate from account Terms and Privacy acceptance and is stored separately from phone verification. Leaving the checkbox unchecked stores recurring consent as false.

Message frequency varies. Frequency depends on your activity and the number of active wars you are participating in.

You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of recurring game SMS messages, or reply HELP for assistance. A user-requested one-time phone verification code is separate from this recurring program; requesting a code does not enroll you in recurring SMS.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in/consent data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
StreakWars uses opted-in mobile information only for transactional game and account notifications described in the SMS Program. No marketing or promotional messages are included.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Certain records may be retained to comply with legal obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure credential storage, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
8. Children's Privacy
StreakWars is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notification.
