PLAY TOGETHER

Challenges with friends that keep everyone showing up

Give your group chat a recurring challenge with clear rules. On StreakWars, players submit proof on schedule and compete to keep their streak alive the longest.

Start with something your friends can repeat on an ordinary day: a fresh photo, a short joke, or a reading note. Agree on what counts before the first check-in.

Create a challenge

Opens the Creator tab. Review the setup and entry details before launching.

Four challenges to try with friends

These are ideas for your group to set up, not a list of currently available Wars. Choose a proof type supported by your War.

Want a photo theme? Try ten daily photo challenge ideas with clear proof rules.

The daily pet portrait

Prompt: Take one new photo of your pet each day.

Agree first: Use a fresh photo for each check-in; an old favorite does not count. If someone has no pet, choose an everyday-object theme everyone can join.

The outfit check

Prompt: Photograph something you wore today.

Agree first: Repeating an outfit is fine; repeating a photo is not. Shoes or a jacket can count, so nobody needs to share their face or buy anything.

The one-sentence reading club

Prompt: Read a little and write one sentence about what you noticed.

Agree first: Set text as an accepted proof type. Use your own words rather than copying a page, and agree whether rereading counts.

The fresh-joke streak

Prompt: Share a new joke at every check-in.

Agree first: Choose text or voice proof and a no-repeats rule. Count showing up, rather than asking friends to vote on who is funniest.

Turn the idea into a StreakWar

  1. Open the Creator tab. Choose a theme and write a rule that everyone can understand. “A new photo of something you wore today” is clearer than “post something good.”
  2. Choose the proof and schedule. Pick the accepted submission types and the check-in cadence offered in setup. Confirm the start conditions and the deadline shown in the War with your group.
  3. Review participation and entry details. Choose public or private, check who can join, and read any entry costs and prize rules before you create the War.
  4. Share the invitation. After creation, use the share screen to send the War’s link to your friends. Ask them to read its rules before joining.

The game follows the rules and schedule configured in StreakWars. A missed required check-in can eliminate a player; check the War for any protection or exceptions. The rules and check-in guide explains the basics.

Plan your group’s rules

Copy this worksheet into your group chat or download the text worksheet. Fill it in together, then enter the supported settings in the Creator tab. This is a planning aid; it does not create or configure a War.

Challenge name
What will your group call it?
What counts
Write one clear prompt and say whether repeats count.
Accepted proof
Choose the proof types you will enable in the War.
Schedule and deadline
Record the cadence, start conditions, and deadline as shown in the app. Confirm how that time appears for friends in other time zones.
Who can join
Choose public or private and decide whom to invite.
Entry and prizes
Record the actual entry costs and prize rules shown in setup.
Before joining
Ask everyone to read the final War details, including missed-check-in rules and any exceptions.

Choose the right format for your group

Should we use our group chat or a challenge app?

A group chat works for casual prompts where nobody needs a deadline or an elimination rule. StreakWars fits groups that want a recurring competition with configured proof requirements, check-ins, and player status. You can still use your chat to cheer each other on.

Do we have to play for money?

No. StreakWars includes free and paid Wars. Check the entry and prize details for the War you create or join; do not assume every challenge has the same costs or rewards.

Can we run a seven-day challenge?

You can use seven days of prompts as a group activity. StreakWars is a streak competition, so a seven-prompt plan does not itself set the War’s end date. Check the duration and ending rules supported in setup before inviting people.
